THE FIG TREE (Figueirinha)
Considered the tree of generosity and fullness, with protective, fertile and regenerative capacities.
Symbol of warmth and of the Mediterranean, it generously grants its name to the Estate and shadow to its people.
LAND
The Estate is characterized by 300 ha of plains colored, but the vineyard, the olive grove and the almond grove are the true loves of this project.
NATURE
The project embraces the ecosystem, with a philosophy of integrated production, with resource optimization and environmental protection. It cultivates, today, the nature that’s expected to be found in the future, sustainable and in full harmony.
It’s under the Alentejo heat, that the Figueirinha Estate produces wines and olive oil of unique characteristics.
We say Alentejo and our gaze is directed Southwards, beyond the Tagus until it rests upon the plains of Beja.

HISTORY
In 2023 we continue to make history...
2023
Just 5 minutes from Beja, the Figueirinha Estate is situated in the heart of Alentejo. A region of rich soils and temperate climate, which contribute to an optimal ripening of fruits. Between the 300 ha of excellent quality soils, stand the buildings that house the Adega and Lagar.
The unique character of the wines and olive oil produced in this country bestows upon it a great diversity of wines with distinct personalities. Portugal is one of the 10 main producers of wine and olive oil at a global scale. Unique features of the country, like the sun, the soil and the proximity to the sea, make it a perfect territory to cultures like wine and olive oil.
