Herdade da Figueirinha, in balance with its values and mission, is currently
developing a set of measures and tools that allow it to obtain greater rigor in the
quality and food safety of its products, having already been certified by the Global
GAP benchmark and being in implementation phase of the ISO 22 000 Standard.
Certified in Integrated Production mode, it is in implementation phase of the PSAA (Sustainability Program for Azeite do Alentejo, led by OLIVUM in partnership with the University of Évora) and the PSVA (Sustainability Program for Alentejo Wines, developed and led by the Alentejo Wine Commission).
We are currently developing a composting unit internally that will allow us to transform all the by-products produced on the estate, which add up to more than 10,000 tons, and joining several partners, the production of our organic compounds by the end of the year, having based on olive pomace.
